Greengage Films is an independent production company based in North Wales, providing oustanding films for internet and broadcast purposes. We work with ethically minded organizations including NGOs and charities, providing them with the opportunity to use the powerful tool of moving imaging to promote their work.

Projects in production for 2012

The importance of peatland: Peat bogs provide a unique habitat for plantlife such as the sundew and birdlife including curlew and golden plover. Huge areas of peatland have been damaged or destroyed throughout the UK, this is largely due to peat extraction for horticultural purposes, but also due to drainage for agriculture and afforastation. In our film we will explore the decline and preservation of peatlands and some of the speicies dependent on these ecosystems.
CAT Volunteers: This film features a cross section of volunteers participating in the running of the Center for Alternative Technology in Wales.
Where have all the bees gone: A short film about the carder bee in a new wildlife garden location. We will discuss with the London Wildlife Trust why the carder bee is declining and the importance of creating this habitat.
